Within Corcovado National Park is 42.469 hectares, The last tropical humid rain-forest of the Mesoamerican Pacific is conserved.

Its location, climate conditions, topography, and ever-charging ground level work together to provide and amazing diversity of habitats. As Result, there exist an incredible amount of biological species.

Thousand of species of flowers can be found, many of these are extremely rare. Some like ajo, ojoche, cedro. They are extinct in other regions.

The Fauna of the park are endangered species such as the scarlet macaw, peccary, ant eater, sloths, four different species of primates and five species of cats including The Jaguar.

In the park we have 4 Ranger Stations, La Leona, La Sirena, Los Patos and San Pedrillo, there you can found a lot of information also if you the take a night walk into the park.

In the park you can found long or short trails Please ASK to the ranger.

 The trip from La Leona to Sirena takes about 6 or 7 hour. One part goes through the forest and the other part in on the beach. IMPORTANT be sure to check the times of high and low tides. On the day you are going because there is some areas impossible to walk in High tide. Along you way insects, like spiders, or a Capuchin monkey can be found.

The trip from Los Patos to  Sirena Takes about 6  hours and is ideal for bird watching. On this track you would see the Corcovado Lagoon and large part of the park.

The trip from San Pedrillo to Sirena takes about 10 hours. IMPORTANT be sure to check the times of high and low tides ask to the rangers!!
